Or are they the best? I don't know but I'm re-writing this blog post so as to not be too harsh on the Hapoalim guys. I'm sure they have no ulterior motives when they issue recommendations. Why in the world would they? It isn’t like they maybe want to bring back the stock to a level that is more attractive for them to buy or to help shorts cover lower? Surely not.
I would encourage retail investors listening to their advice to review the previous calls on MEDX, BMY, SQNM and MNKD and form your own opinion.
You may also want to review some previous history about the firm in these links:

So should you trust them? That is up to you.
Before you go selling your ARNA shares based on Hapoalim’s recommendation, I’d recommend sticking to your own due diligence and not relying on the opinions of others. Do you think any of the investment firms will send you a check if you lose money based on their advice? Do you send a check if you make money based on one of their calls? If you are nervous then you should sell prior to the release of the briefing docs on the 14th. If you believe the FDA will approve and Hapoalim is full of crap, then maybe it is best to trust your own research and hold. It is all up to you, the investor, to make your own decisions on what is best for you and your investment strategy / circumstances. It is your money after all.
Good luck to us all!
Great research as always. I am long on ARNA and intend to hold through the panel and the approval date. This is just another FUD attempt.
ReplyDeleteDo you have an opinion about DCTH? I haven't done my DD yet, but it seems like an interesting play.
Thanks Jon. I'm sorry, I have not done enough DD on DCTH to make an informed opinion. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteNo problem. I am also interested in MNKD so your analysis and research on this blog is much appreciated. Thanks again. I look forward to reading your live blog next week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon. I'm looking forward to it!
